Resstende was one of the first Italian companies to apply the EC marking to its motorised blinds in 1999 and to update its production on the basis of the international legal requirements as stipulated in the Directive “98/37/EEC : New approach to machine design” :
- Directive 89/392/EEC (Machine design)
- Directive 89/336/EEC (Electromagnetic compatibility - EMC)
- Directive 91/368/EEC (modified by 89/392)
- Directive 93/44/EEC (Safety components)
- Directive 93/68/EEC (modified by 73/23/EEC Low Voltage)
Furthermore, following the publication of the EEC official gazette n° 26/10/2004 with respect to the directive 89/106/CEE “Building materials” and the related standard CEN EN 13561:2004, Resstende extended the EC certification to its manual blinds for outdoors. In July 2006 Resstende obtained the AK certificate from the TÙV Group for its principal blind systems:

Full conformity of our blind systems to EC requirements is attested by :
- EC label affixed to the blind. Tampering with, or removal of, the label will result in the warranty of the product being considered void.
- Users and maintenance manual and installation sheets. These and technical datasheets of the systems may be downloaded directly from our website from the section DOWNLOAD.
