The company, formerly PRODOTTI RESSTENDE, was founded in 1975, originally commercialising technical fabrics, mechanical components and tubular motors for blinds. The experience gained in only a few years allowed it, in 1980, to design and develop its first series of black-out and shading blind systems. During the course of the years, a combination of research, quality and technology have contributed to the steady growth of the company, that now offers a range of over 1000 products which are sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
The factory in Agrate Brianza conforms to all modern productive and legal requirements which is indispensable in order to guarantee the quality of its products. RESSTENDE continues to invest in new technologies and bought a new automatic fabric cutting machine (dimensions 3.5 x 11 m) in 2005. Furthermore RESSTENDE was one of the first companies in the sun protection trade to apply the CE safety marking of its products, its motorised blinds have been CE certified since 1999.
