Solid and elegant awning designed for outdoor installations, for verandas and other large horizontal or sloped glassed areas; however it may also be used on vertical windows where, for example, the blind is required to open from the ground upwards.
The Veranda blind has a specially designed traction bar to guarantee constant fabric tension in any position.
The Veranda blinds may be installed side by side, double module possible with only one motor. The blind structure is made of heavy duty extruded aluminium profiles, consisting of :
- Box: mod. CV140, section 143 x 161 mm, with removable cover and high resistance cast aluminium lateral cheeks
Guides: mod. GVS, section 65 x 65 mm, with high resistance cast aluminium end covers and incorporated pulleys
- Traction bar: mod. FV92 with removable cover, section 80 x 55 mm, containing the pretensioning system. The traction bar is mounted on ball bearing sliding units. Constant fabric tension is obtained by the use of Ø 2.5 mm PVC coated galvanised cables, attached to a spring mounted inside the traction bar and to teflon pulleys mounted on each end of the roller tube.
- Roller tube: Ø 78 mm galvanized steel tube, thickness 1.25 mm, with special groove into which the welded strip on the fabric is inserted.
OPTIONAL:
- Remote control (choice of receiver incorporated in the motor or separate), electronic control units for multi-level automation, sun/wind sensors.
- Choice of mounting brackets for the installation on any surface.
ADVANTAGES:
- Covering of large surface areas, up to 18 m² per module.
- Great flexibility, the system may be installed in any position.
- Optimum solar protection may be obtained by positioning the blind at approximately 40 cm from the window pane, hence reducing the greenhouse effect to a minimum.
- Possibilità of operating two modules with a single motor.
