SIDE CHANNELS |

RESSTENDE offers a wide choice of different shape and sizes of extruded aluminium side channels as well as a selection of steel bars and cables to guide the fabric and/or bottom rail.
The choice of the most suitable guide system should be based upon the type and size of the blind requested.
GUIDE SYSTEM:
Unguided fabric – the fabric hangs free, only the bottom rail runs inside the side channel to restrict its movement and ensure that the blind hangs correctly :
L1 Family – nylon or steel cable guides
L2 Family – steel bar guides
L3 Family – extruded aluminium side channels
Guided fabric – both the fabric and bottom rail run inside the side channel, hence providing better control of the blinds movement, keeping the fabric flatter and eliminating the light gaps (essential for blackout systems):
B Family – a series of plastic studs mounted on the fabric edges run inside the side channels
R Family – horizontal steel rods inserted inside welded pockets on the fabric
S Family – a welded zip along the fabric edges runs inside the Shy system side channels

| The standard colours are white (powder coated), anodised silver, black or bronze. Powder coating in any RAL colour is available upon request. |
NB: With the G80 side channel the use of reinforced fabric is obligatory. For outdoor installations, reinforcement of the fabric may also be requested. The horizontal reinforcement rods are in galvanized steel, Ø 4,5 mm, and are inserted in welded pockets roughly every 70-80 cm.
