It is the only company that offers exclusively roller blind systems. The company, formerly PRODOTTI RESSTENDE, was founded in 1975, originally commercialising technical fabrics, mechanical components and tubular motors for blinds. The experience gained in only a few years allowed it, in 1980, to design and develop its first series of black-out and shading blind systems. During the course of the years, a combination of research, quality and technology have contributed to the steady growth of the company, that now offers a range of over 1000 products which are sold in over 40 countries worldwide. The factory in Agrate Brianza conforms to all modern productive and legal requirements which is indispensable in order to guarantee the quality of its products. RESSTENDE continues to invest in new technologies and bought a new automatic fabric cutting machine (dimensions 3.5 x 11 m) in 2005. Furthermore RESSTENDE was one of the first companies in the sun protection trade to apply the CE safety marking of its products, its motorised blinds have been CE certified since 1999. The extensive range of accessories permit a wide choice of systems: manual (chain, spring or crank operated) or motorised. The freehanging roller blind systems may be divided into two categories: * Standard systems (without box) Face or ceiling mounted with the option of a pre-mounting support rail to facilitate installation. The system is also suitable for other applications, e.g. blinds for freezer counters; cruise ships; industrial furnishing. Novelty: Comfort System * Boxed systems The box protects both the mechanism and the fabric and improves the appearance hence turning the blind into an object of decoration. For this reason we offer a range of different box sizes, shapes, and colours to satisfy any architectural constraint. Manual (chain or crank) or motorised versions are available and the large number of accessories offered means that there is a system for every necessity. Crank Chain (indoors only) Motorised Externally mounted blinds reduce the percentage of solar energy transmitted through the window pane, hence consenting a substantial energy saving thanks to a minor need for air conditioning. Blackout roller blinds are the ideal solution for classrooms, congress or meeting rooms where projection screens are employed. Models available: RCGB30 CCGB30/38/42 ACGL330/35/42/70 ACGB30/35/42 ACGR35/42/70 - MCGL328/40/50/ MCGL3506/507/508 MCGB28/40/50 MCGR40/50/506 MCGR507/508 The aluminium structure is available in the following standard colours: anodised silver, black, bronze or powder enamelled RAL 9010 (white) and consists of: * Mounting brackets or cover box: a broad choice of shapes and sizes available depending upon the blind dimensions. * Side channels: The type of side channel determines which family the blind belongs to: TUV - L3 family: G31, GC20 , GP32 or GP42 - Extruded aluminium side channels in which only the bottom rail runs (fabric unguided) to restrain movement of the blind. Ideal for indoor or outdoor shading applications. Not suitable for blackout systems as there is a gap between the fabric and the side channel. - B family: G39, G49 or GT45 - Extruded aluminium side channels with the double task of constraining the fabric (plastic buttons run inside the rail) and closing the lateral gaps (hence reducing light infiltration: important for blackout systems). Suitable for small to medium sized blinds of widths up to 250 cm (only for indoor applications). - R family: G80 - Extruded aluminium side channels with the double task of constraining the fabric (metal rods keep the fabric inside the rail) and closing the lateral gaps (hence reducing light infiltration: important for blackout systems). This system uses horizontal rods inserted in welded pockets (every 50-70 cm) in the fabric. * Bottom rail: the rail serves as a weight to keep the fabric taut, choice of shapes and colours available. * Roller tube: the choice of the tube depends upon the width of the blind and the chosen operation method. However it may also be used on vertical windows where, for example, the blind is required to open from the ground upwards. The double box system has a counter balancing spring (or another motor in the TTS version) mounted in the second roller tube that keeps the fabric taut in any position. The blind is supplied with the side channels ready mounted on an aluminium "L" profile to facilitate installation, these are then attached to the end cheeks of the boxes. Models available: OACGB30/42 OACGR42/70 OACGS70 OMCGB28/40/50 OMCGR50/506/507 OMCGS507 OMCGRTTS OMCGSTTS The aluminium structure is available in the following standard colours: anodised silver, black, bronze or powder enamelled RAL 9010 (white) and consists of: * Double Box choice depending upon the blind dimensions * Extruded aluminium side channels with the double task of constraining the fabric and closing the lateral gaps (hence reducing light infiltration: important for blackout systems). The type of side channel determines which family the blind belongs to: - B family: G39, G49 or GT45 - The fabric is retained inside the side channels with the use of plastic buttons. The belts that keep the fabric taut are hidden inside the side channels. Suitable for small blind sizes (widths up to 120 cm). - R family: G80 - The fabric is retained inside the side channels with the use of metal reinforcement rods inserted in welded pockets (every 50-70 cm). The belts that keep the fabric taut are hidden inside the side channels. - S family: GS33, GS43 or GS58 - Sistema SHY ZIP The fabric is retained inside the side channels with the use of the patented "zip" system. The steel cables (connected between the bottom rail and the counter spring/motor) that keep the fabric taut are not hidden and remain in view. * Bottom rail: model FG42 in extruded aluminium. * Roller tube : 1.25 mm thick galvanised steel tube Ø 70 (crank) or Ø 78 mm (motorised) with slot for mounting fabric. * Manual (crank) or motorised operation. Tubular single phase motor 230V-50Hz, adjustable end switch and thermal cut-out with protection factor IP44. The blind is also suitable for sloping rooves and may be mounted on any frame: wooden or iron trellises, skylights, verandas or balconies. The blind has a robust extruded aluminium structure consisting of: * Side channels: model GZ, section 46x80 mm, in extruded aluminium, onto which the drive blocks are mounted at one end, and an adjustable pulley at the other. * Moving rails: mod. The Veranda blind has a specially designed traction bar to guarantee constant fabric tension in any position. The Veranda blinds may be installed side by side, double module possible with only one motor. The blind structure is made of heavy duty extruded aluminium profiles, consisting of : * Box: mod. CV140, section 143 x 161 mm, with removable cover and high resistance cast aluminium lateral cheeks Guides: mod. Resstende offers a wide range of secure, reliable and functional made-to-measure insect screens: screens that are renowned for their elegance, potential size (maximum 600 x 500 cm) and the ease with which they may be installed and used. Anti-insect aluminium roller blinds available with manual (chain, spring or crank) or motorised operation, and a choice of different models depending upon the specific requirements. Models available: RCGB30 CCGB30/38/42 ACGB30/35/42 ACGR35/42/70 ACGS42 ACGS70 Tipo TS MCGB28/40/50 MCGR40/50/506 MCGR507/508 MCGS50/506/507 The aluminium structure is available in the following standard colours: anodised silver, black, bronze or powder enamelled RAL 9010 (white). Any RAL colour available upon request. The structure consists of: * Box wide choice depending upon the size of the insect screen * Side channels: The type of side channel determines which family the blind belongs to: - B family :G39, G49 or GT45 - with the double task of constraining the fabric (plastic buttons run inside the rail) and closing the lateral gaps (hence reducing light infiltration: important for blackout systems). Suitable for small to medium sized blinds of widths up to 250 cm (only for indoor applications). - R family : G80 - with metal rods inserted in horizontal pockets that keep the net inside the rail, ideal for large dimensions. - S family :GS33, GS43 or GS58 - with the SHY Zip System that both provides perfect impenetrability and exceptional wind resistance. * Bottom rail: the rail serves as a weight to keep the fabric taut, choice of shapes and colours available. * Roller tube: the choice of the tube depends upon the width of the blind and the chosen operation method. * Fabric: Roll-up, washable insect net in high quality fiberglass with PVC welded borders on 4 sides for a long life and improved weather resistance.
