The majesty of the volume and the purity of a masterfully calibrated light welcome the guests in the scenic Salento residence located 12 meters from the waters of the Ionian Sea, at the end of the new part of Gallipoli. A construction site lasted three years, in which the study Palomba + Serafini
has poured a radical interpretation of space and proportions.
The immaculate white of the elements, along with unique design items, current or historical, make the atmosphere almost metaphysical. In this context, the light that floods every room has been modulated and controlled thanks to the skill of Resstende with over 60 systems made to measure.
On the second floor there are also the living areas with a double-height living room, connected to the kitchen, designed as a greenhouse where a lot of plants are found.
On the floor, to ensure the perfect balance of light, it was also chosen a Stripes system
that allows you to create a play of glares and shadows with the reflections of the sun, which from sunrise to sunset lights the rooms of the residence. The Stripes system
makes it possible just with a slight movement, to choose the desired level of brightness, with games of transparency that enhance environments. The glass angle of this floor is the one that collects the most charming atmosphere of the whole house. The view of the open blue sea is enhanced by the design of the furnishings.
