PURE: THE NEW COLLECTION OF RESSTENDE FABRICS

Emblematic of Resstende’s inexhaustible research that aims towards balanced elegance is the new collection of fabrics for roller blinds proposed by the Agrate Brianza company, experimenting with a new concept of contemporary sobriety, perfect for interiors with a modern style.

Indeed, “sophisticated simplicity” is the slogan that accompanies the Pure collection, a symposium of neutral tones and natural textures that are easy to approach, where luxury meets refined essentiality.

Clear textures, harmonious material effects, special prints and refined finishes are blended to give life to a compositional rigour that contributes to defining the precise character of the room, in which the interior blind is no longer limited to being a mere accessory but rather takes on a leading role that contributes to defining the style of the room. The stylistic study of the collection invites people to set their own stage as they please. With Pure, Resstende demonstrates how originality in contemporary blind fabrics knows no barriers, moving the confines of conventions forward to make room for creativity and the most sought-after glamour.

The Pure fabrics, combined with Resstende technical systems, become a tool that fully celebrates the functional comfort of technical blinds in the home, shading the light whilst easing the impact of heat inside the room, all the whilst ensuring the necessary privacy. The Pure collection is configured as a symbol of a new way of conceiving interior blinds, expressing a discreet and composed luxury, free from the tyrannies of passing fads.

THE SHADING PROJECT FROM RESSTENDE FOR THE MUSE

The space conceived by Studio Piano for the MUSE – Museo delle Scienze in Trento – is based on a well-defined vision of well-being in the office, animated by an inexhaustible technical-creative stream, always and courageously oriented towards experimentation. With the realisation of this project, Resstende reconfirms its role as a point of reference in Italy, capable of dealing with iconic architectural settings that require absolutely customised operations.

At MUSE, the major themes of the exhibition itinerary are recognisable in the form and volumes, whilst maintaining broad flexibility in setting up the spaces, typical of a new-generation museum. The building is comprised of a succession of spaces and volumes, full and empty, positioned on an expansive body of water on which they seem to float, multiplying the effects and vibrations of light and shadow. Everything is held together from overhead, by the large slopes of the roof that follow its forms, becoming an element of strong identification.

Renzo Piano’s science museum is equipped with an automated and mechanised system of installations, exploiting solar and geothermal energy by means of photovoltaic cells, solar panels and heat-exchange probes. The components characterising the realisation that Resstende will produce at the MUSE OFFICES IN TRENTO are the highest expression of the company’s heritage and perfectly aligned with the context – an undisputed technical ability united with the now highly-recognised propensity for integrating sunshades into the architectural project. Today, Resstende’s proposal goes beyond aesthetics to embrace function in achieving the concept of authentic and tangible comfort in the environments.

The perfect management of illumination through the sunshade system comes as the specific need of the project that will be realised with the BOSTON 110 model combined with the TRACTION KIT 55 system. The Boston model is one of the most elegant and advanced Resstende systems, with an exclusive design and high technical content, specifically designed for applications on façades to ensure that the sunshade becomes an integral part of the building’s architecture. The CT110 HEADBOX is in extruded aluminium, with all systems being motorised. The systems are mounted on a structure of wooden beams and inclined by 50° using plates made to design. The fabric chosen for the realisation was the SUNSCREEN SATINÉ 5501, composed of 42% fibreglass and 58% PVC. It has an openness factor of 1%, a thickness of 0.55 mm and a weight of 450 g/m2. The internal screens cover different heights, from 2 metres up to a maximum of almost 4 metres.
