The redesigned Milan skyline. Here is Resstende’s 4.0 project.

Milan looks like a city that is always on the move. The skyline changes and becomes ever new thanks to the contribution of the most renowned architects in the sector. Torre Milano is one of the latest visionary projects that have taken shape in Milan and Resstende has been called upon to create the internal curtains for the exclusive apartments that make up the residential tower.

Located in one of the most enviable areas of the city, Torre Milano rises between Isola, Maggiolina and Porta Nuova, one step away from the most important railway stations and integrated into a human-sized neighborhood. The building as a whole will house 105 apartments of different sizes, spread over 23 floors. Torre Milano is a project signed by Studio Beretta Associati which, by promoting a typically Milanese architectural style, aims to create a place where work-life balance and the well-being of families are at the center.
As part of the Milano Contract District, Resstende was called upon to study and install the internal curtains for the tower’s sample residence. A perfectly furnished four-room apartment to give the buyer the impression of crossing the threshold of their own home. Precious Roman blinds and curtains on NOVO track give luster to the large windows in the living room, which here exceed 4 meters in height. Integrated home automation allows remote management of all smart living systems in the home, including the movement of internal blinds.

The NOVO motorized track is a silent system with an extremely refined design for curtains. The energy saving wireless motor comes complete with 3 or 5 wire modular cable. The maximum load capacity is 30 kg and the fixing is on the ceiling with side opening.
Not only the living area is embellished with Resstende systems. The kitchen has two Roman blinds that screen the view onto the external loggia. For this environment, a soft white Colortex fabric was selected. Also in the bathroom, a package system was opted for, extremely practical and with a clean and elegant design. The two bedrooms, the master bedroom and the children’s bedroom, have been enriched with systems of curtains, with soft white fabric, which shade the light from the outside with class.

The heart of the project is certainly the installation in the living area. Saverio Mini, commercial manager from Resstende, who follows the interior projects together with Milano Contract District, has studied a solution that fulfils all the client’s needs. The proposal fell on a system with a great aesthetic impact, in which the curtain becomes the protagonist and frame of the Milanese skyline seen from the twelfth floor.
