The event Architetture Condivise has just concluded. This exclusive journey, structured across three meetings, explored the dynamic intersection between architectural design, entrepreneurship, and regional development. Hosted at the Resstende headquarters in Arcore, the initiative brought together various experts to reflect on new paradigms in contemporary architecture and how it can harmonize aesthetic, functional, and sustainable demands.

A journey dedicated to the sharing of cutting-edge ideas and projects, organized around three central themes: innovation with the new Bonfiglioli Headquarters, historical restoration with the redesign of Palazzo Assolombarda, and urban regeneration with the Levante Waterfront. Each session delved into how contemporary architecture meets client needs while balancing the creative ambitions of the involved firms, creating spaces that speak of innovation and culture.

The spotlight of the first session was on the Bonfiglioli Headquarters project in Calderara di Reno, designed by Peter Pichler Architecture. This example of pioneering design combines high efficiency and sustainability, as explained by architect and engineer Chiara Persi and architect Simona Alù. During the evening, the event explored new frontiers in sustainable architecture, highlighting innovative solutions that turn functional aesthetics into responsible art.

The second session focused on Palazzo Assolombarda, a reinterpretation of the historic 1946 building, curated by architect Federico Colletta, co-founder of CO3 Progetti | Architetti Associati. Architect Colletta, joined by project leader Stefano Matteoni, presented the innovative vision adopted for the redesign, emphasizing the use of solar screens by Resstende, which give the building a new sustainable identity, respectful of its historical legacy.

The final session showcased the Levante Waterfront project, created by RPBW – Renzo Piano Building Workshop and OBR – Open Building Research. Architect Francesco Giacobello from RPBW and architect Paolo Fang from OBR highlighted the architectural and technological innovations of the new complex, describing it as a model of urban regeneration that enhances local territory and resources.

Created by MC International and Office Observer in collaboration with the Order of Architects, urban planners, landscape architects, and conservators of the province of Monza and Brianza, and supported by media partner IoArh, Architetture Condivise proved to be more than a series of meetings: it was a journey where the past and future of architecture engaged in dialogue, inspiring new perspectives and leaving a significant mark on the contemporary landscape.
