In the heart of Milan, GDM7 – Giovanni da Milano 7 takes shape: a high-end residential project that embodies a new way of living, based on customization, technology, and material quality. Within this development, Resstende was involved as a technical partner for the creation of internal solar shading systems for the mockup apartment, a key space in defining the style and design solutions of the entire complex.

The project, developed in synergy with Contract District Group and the PRQUADRO studio, integrates renovation, interior design, and furnishings within a design & build approach, offering tailor-made configurations for future residents.

Resstende solutions contribute significantly to the quality of the spaces, working on the management of natural light and the aesthetic balance of interiors. The choice of light and neutral fabrics interacts with the apartment’s palette, enhancing brightness and visual comfort.

In the bedroom and bathroom, the F101 roller blind system was installed, featuring a RAL 9010 white structure and Colortex fabric, flame-retardant, light-resistant, and suitable for contemporary residential settings. This chain-operated roller system, without guides or cassette, is increasingly popular in residential environments for its clean design. The F101 system stands out for its essential and contemporary aesthetic, enhancing interior design without weighing it down, combining innovation with simplicity. Functional and practical in everyday use, it allows smooth and elegant control of natural light, contributing to overall living comfort.

In the main areas, the living room and master bedroom, gathered curtains in Arrtex fabric from the Mediterraneo collection were selected instead—a softer, more decorative solution capable of creating elegant and welcoming atmospheres.

The mockup apartment represents a strategic step: it allows for the concrete testing of materials, finishes, and technical solutions, becoming a reference for future interior configurations.

This project confirms Resstende’s role in complex developments, where technical functionality and aesthetic quality must integrate coherently, contributing to the creation of a contemporary and tailored living experience.
