We interviewed Riccardo Gasparini, Managing Director of Resstende, to learn how designers’ demands are evolving and how the company responds with innovative, tailored solutions.
What are the main requests from designers today? They increasingly look for highly customizable, aesthetically integrated solutions that optimize comfort and performance. With Zoomtech®, a patented technology for large glass surfaces, we offer minimal, versatile, custom systems that ensure perfect flatness and compatibility with any fabric.
What role do your shading systems play in architecture? Our blinds are an active element of architectural design. From the Genoa Waterfront to the Bonfiglioli HQ, we integrate into façades or ceilings with functional, elegant, and durable solutions—indoor or outdoor. We focus on visual comfort, efficiency, and sustainability.
How do you work with materials today? Continuous innovation: we collaborate with global suppliers for increasingly high-performing and sustainable materials, meeting demanding and evolving technical standards.
A flagship project in recent years? The Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan: 384 custom shading units, many inclined. A milestone that confirmed our ability to combine technology, precision, and design.
