Resstende has contributed to the redevelopment project of Monte Rosa 91 building, collaborating with RPBW Studio to enhance common spaces and create continuity between the historic Milanese building’s interior and exterior.
The Resstende team performed an extraordinary job in the renovation project of the Monte Rosa 91 building, dismantling the existing external solar shading structures, restoring them, and replacing the 1,121 fabric panels of the façade, giving them new life.
The green color that characterized the fabric of the previous curtains has now been inherited by the cassette structures in RAL 6018.
The chromatic change is also reflected in the choice of textile, favoring a fabric with high energy performance with a solar reflection of 57%: Soltis Perform 92, in the Cloud color variant code 50272 on the inner side and Silver Metallic code 3128 on the outer side.
This tonal inversion provides a completely new image to the complex, with the peculiarity of reflecting external light, acting as a thermal shield and contributing to energy savings, a feature guaranteed by the renewed solar shading systems.
The micro-openings in the fabric weave facilitate the control of natural light, reducing problematic solar glare in work environments.
Within the offices, in collaboration with AXA IM Alts, Resstende’s technical office designed 73 free-rolling chain-operated roller blinds with custom brackets, installed on the ground floor and level 1. The chosen fabric is E-Screen 7505 code 30505 in pearl color, with a 5% openness factor and glare control up to 93%.
In the area designated for the new Haleon headquarters, Resstende installed 16 free-rolling chain-operated blinds and 26 motorized blinds. In this case, the selected filtering fabric is E-Screen 7510 code 30328, also in pearl shade but with a 10% openness factor.
Meticulous attention to detail, combined with design interventions, has ensured a savings of over 20% in consumption, with an improvement of 2 energy classes and the Wired Score Platinum certification for the high level of digital connectivity.
“It has been an honor for our company to be part of this significant project aimed at the redevelopment of the area and energy savings” concludes Rossella Gerosa – Project Manager at Resstende.
